Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Protein Smoothie


Protein smoothies are a smart breakfast option. They help you stay full all morning, and provide the essential protein you need to start your day.  If your'e anything like me, your stomach is growling around 11:00 am and you are searching for a snack.  Whenever I have protein smoothies for breakfast I'm never hungry before lunchtime.   This was the first recipe I tried using protein powder.  It really is a great recipe to start with!  This smoothie is my favorite for breakfast, but it also is a nice post workout meal.

Ingredients:
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 banana
1 tbsp peanut butter
1/2-3/4 cup skim milk

Directions:
Combine 1/2 cup skim milk, protein powder, banana and peanut butter into a blender.  Blend until smooth.  If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk. Print Friendly and PDF
