I have a post coming soon telling you a little more about Tone It Up and the amazing program but right now I'm just going to share one of their delicious and healthy recipes with you, Protein Pancakes! Feel free to indulge in these pancakes at anytime throughout the day. Enjoy!
Protein Pancakes:
Ingredients:
1/2 banana, mashed
3 egg whites (or
1/4 cup egg whites)
1 teaspoon
cinnamon
1 tablespoon almond
milk
1 packet or 1
scoop vanilla protein powder (Perfect Fit Protein
is their brand of protein and I highly
recommend using it for this recipe! It's brown rice protein and a great substitute for baking.)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients until smooth, I usually put the ingredients in a
blender and blend for a few seconds. Spray a nonstick cooking pan with cooking
spray and pour the mixture onto the pan. Cook over medium heat, flipping when
batter starts to bubble.
